Financial Aid Policies at St. Louis College of Health Careers

While financial aid is a complex subject, we at SLCHC believe it doesn’t have to be complicated. SLCHC’s Compliance with the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA)

St. Louis College of Health Careers complies with the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act of 1974. The College insures a student access to certain official records directly related to the student and prohibits the release of personally identifiable information of than “directory information” without prior written consent of the student, except as specified by the law.

Present and former students have the right to personally review their own records for information and to determine their accuracy. Parents of dependent children, as defined by the Internal Revenue have the same rights. In compliance with the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act of 1974 as amended, the College reserves the right to disclose information about dependent students to their parents without the students’ written consent.
